Environmental Sustainability
ZERO FOOTPRINT
Oyster farming is the most environmentally friendly form of farming on earth. The oyster's most impressive feat against climate change is their absorption of nitrogen and carbon. Ironically, it takes zero pounds of anything to raise our beloved Crosstrea Virginica (Eastern Oyster).
Nitrogen is sleeper greenhouse gas, the third most serious in the lineup of gases that affect our environment.
RESEARCH team
Not only have oyster populations drastically decreased over the past century but so has the abundance of the life in the bay. Our initiative is to make a difference - by creating a research team. Our developmental research team that is dedicated to preserving aquatic life. We scout ecosystems, collect data, find new ways to increase species population by using modern technology. Our team consists of documentarians, scientists, investors, and volunteers.
ONE FOR ONE™
Keeping the recovery of the bay in mind, we created the One for One Initiative™ - for every oyster purchased a new one is donated to our oyster reef sanctuary.
Currently our farm filters millions of gallons of water each week as a result of extension research, modern farming techniques, and dedication to the over all cause.
Our Solution
DIGITAL MEDIA
Awareness is one of the key components for spreading environmental conservation. Our team of content producers has years of experience in the field documenting all sorts of life. We believe photography, film making, and social media are the best ways to capture audiences.
CONTINUED GRoWTH
Like the ecosystem, our success depends on the environment but our future goals are set high such as expansion of our farm and research equipment, learning ground breaking sustainable techniques, and evolving our overall philosophy.
scientific exploration
In order to stay at the forefront of this evolving movement, it requires continued quantitative & qualitative research. Our team scouts and performs suitability and sustainable studies by exploring ecosystems, add to scientific archives, analytic reports and new means of technology, all in hopes to increase the oyster population.
BE PART OF THE SOLUTION.
